"The apartment looked just as it did in photos. We had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay. Even though I don't wear makeup, it was not lost on me that there were makeup removal towelettes. We had 2 mishaps, but were able to contact someone right away. For one of the mishaps, Kevin came quickly and did what he could to make us comfortable. Monet and Alonia were great about being available for us and we could not have asked for better...Well, no mosquitos...but that had nothing to do with the property. "We enjoyed our stay in Charleston at Walk Away Stays. This was a third floor unit in a building that rents out four properties (each floor and an annex building). It had a narrow curved stairwell at the top; no problem for us, but some might have difficulty. This was a great size for our little family of four. In-room washer and dryer was very appreciated. The unit could use a few more kitchen items. We made a some meals on site; there were pots, but no potholders or trivet. A hand towel did the trick since we were in a pinch. We didn't hear any of the other renters below us, which was nice. The area of town is cute; nearby restaurants and shops. Close to downtown historic area. "We quite enjoyed our apartment - very clean and quiet. The location was great with interesting restaurants within walking distance. We walked everywhere. The parking in the back was also great.
