This beautiful, recently renovated three bedroom property is in a fantastic, central location on upper King St., and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants such as Starbucks, the Shops at Belmond Place, and the Apple Store. This unit has a nice, spacious sitting area that can accommodate up to five guests to socialize or watch television on the flat screen TV and the couch pulls out into a sleeper sofa to accommodate two guests. There are two queen beds and one king bed in the three bedrooms, each with their own TV. This apartment also includes two full, modern bathrooms, a kitchenette that offers a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Please note that this is a second floor unit and it is not pet friendly.
Besides the excellent location, this unit has features hardwood floors throughout, exposed support beams and exposed brick, and one off-street parking space. There is a parking garage right around the corner is additional parking is needed. "What a fabulous time we had! It was a birthday weekend for me and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect. Not only is it perfectly located to shopping, dining, and downtown, but the short walks to the market and the river were great. The unit is very comfortable in spite of not having a full kitchen. We had individual A/C thermostats and the beds were very comfortable. We had someone above us, but they were very respectful of the rules. “We recently stayed in 229a for my Bachelorette weekend in Charleston and it was perfect. Great location, conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the waterfront, carriage tours, bars - everywhere you want to go! The apartment is beautiful and in great condition. The beds are super comfortable and they make them with 1500 thread count sheets we deemed “butter sheets” because they were so good. The air conditioning is lovely to come back to as well. The apartment has an assortment of dishes, glasses and silverware as well as a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. There is a Harris Teeter in walking distance to buy drinks or groceries. Seven of us stayed there and it was a great space. Obviously the sofa bed is not quite as comfortable as the real beds, but it did the trick. I would highly recommend this rental to others looking to stay in the Charleston area with a group and I would love to stay there again myself. Walk Away Stays was great to work with!
