The tree-lined street is quiet (which means you’ll have a great night’s sleep), but 2 blocks from King Street, where you’ll find the buzz of cafes, restaurants, galleries, shopping and a vibrant night life. Unlike many downtown properties, this property comes with 2 off-street parking spaces. You’ll never have to stress about finding or paying for a place to park.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking up your own meals, and there’s a gas grill on the cozy hidden tree-covered garden patio. If you don’t want to brew up the Charleston roasted coffee that is provided for you, just meander across the street to Eclectic Café (or other coffee shops) to enjoy local coffees and baked goods. The large dining area is open to the living room and kitchen, perfect for family game nights or lingering after your home-cooked meals. And it is decorated with both of the owners’ original artwork and beautiful antique furnishings. A beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs and boogie boards are included for your enjoyment. “This was a wonderful place!!! It was larger than I expected and was beautifully decorated. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. I absolutely loved the porch off the front bedroom, great for morning coffee and a glass of wine at night. The off-street parting was great too since parking in Charleston is crazy. “242A was perfect for our family’s Christmas getaway! The space worked well for the 7 of us (all adults), and we were able to walk downtown. We found excellent restaurants just a short distance from the apartment - Hominy Grill and Xiao Bao Biscuit. Two of us even took a yoga class at the studio on the corner.
