PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

To protect all parties, we have a strictly enforced policy for cancellations. There shall be no emergency cancellation or refunds because of shortened stays or ruined experiences due to work or family obligations, or other commitments. We are not responsible for the weather or other Acts of God and there will be no refunds for such events. The only way to ensure a refund for such is to purchase travel insurance.

When booking through Walk Away Stays directly, if a reservation is made within 30 days of the check-in date, the tenant must pay the entire cost of the reservation, which is non-refundable.

If the booking is made more than 30 days in advance of the check-in date:

  • 20% of total is required when booking online or over the phone

  • Deposit becomes non-refundable at 60 days prior to arrival

  • If cancelled within 30 days of arrival no refunds will be given

IF THE TENANT DOES NOT PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE BOOKING 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF CHECK-IN, WALK AWAY STAYS MAY, AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, CANCEL THE RESERVATION AND RETAIN ANY AMOUNT PAID.

Rates and reservations are not confirmed until the amount due and rental agreement have been received and accepted by Walk Away Stays. 

The above cancellation policy does not apply to third party booking sites.
