Property Reviews

"Great location! Right downtown and close to everything! The space was neat and clean when we arrived. Unit had everything we could need plus more. Porch was an awesome addition. Would highly recommend!" -Kristen, July 2017
"Very comfortable stay with an abundance of accommodations packed into a small room! We LOVED the location and did a lot of walking during our stay. We were very happy to walk in out of the heat into a well conditioned room to cool down. The room had everything we needed (you may want to bring some extra TP if you think about it... :) ). All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend this room to a friend looking for an affordable place to stay in downtown Charleston." -Blake, July 2017
"We had a great vacation in Charleston and part of that was due to choosing this Walk Away Stays listing. The location is only a short walk from King Street and the price altogether was cheaper than staying in a decent hotel that was farther away from where we wanted to be. The space was ample enough for two people, it was cozy, and clean! I'm renown for getting skeeved-out by sleeping in any bed but my own, but everything was pristine and comfortable. The neighbors were quiet and respectful, even though the walls were pretty thin. The street wasn't too quiet, but no noisier than being near any city, really. The only things I wasn't impressed with was the water pressure in the shower, but I really have no complaints. The employees were extremely helpful over the phone, very down to earth, and not at all put out when I would call with silly questions. Their pdf packet was very helpful, the instructions to get in and out of the building clear and easy. We would definitely choose Walk Away Stays again!" - Candace K.
