This beautiful group vacation rental in Charleston, SC has been completely renovated and comes with one off-street parking spot in the private driveway. Situated at the corner of Rutledge and Spring, this unit is in an excellent location putting guests within walking distance to many restaurants and a convenient mart. 

Upon entering the property, you will follow the hall to the best part of the home, which is a beautifully decorated, spacious communal area. The space lets in plenty of natural light through the windows and two doors that lead to the double porch, featuring plenty of patio furniture, a gas grill, and overlooks the intersection of Rutledge and Spring. The living room has a flat screen TV atop the white marble fireplace and the dining table accommodates four guests. The kitchen is truly remarkable with all new top of the line stainless-steel appliances and a very large island with beautiful marble countertops offering seating for two at the bar. The main bedroom features a king bed, large walk-in closet, seating area, and a large master bathroom with a steam shower. Walk upstairs and you will find two bedrooms, each with queen beds and a full bathroom. 

Unit C also features high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, and a private, shared patio that includes another gas grill. “This house is incredible! It is old town Charleston on the outside then beautiful, renovated, updated inside!! Everything is gorgeous! The master bathroom shower is a dream come true and all of the beds/pillow are so soft and comfortable! We were there for a bachelorette weekend and all of the girls were so impressed and in awe of how awesome it was. The porch was our main hang out and it was so relaxing and nice to sit out there. It is walking distance to everything. Fuel and Hominy Grill are right down the street. Hominy Grill might be some of the best food I’ve ever had so this location is perfect! Even if you need a cab, Walk Away gave us a list of taxis and you were able to call ahead and book one or they would be there within 15 minutes. The total cost of a cab ride was between $10-15 which is so cheap and convenient. I highly recommend using Walk Away Stays and to stay at this gorgeous house! “This house was perfect - all the southern charm I was hoping for in a Charleston home. Kevin was very communicative as was the entire staff from Walk Away. The large communal kitchen made it the perfect place for us to hang out, enjoy preparing meals and sitting by the fireplace. “My wife, daughter and I had a great 5-day stay in this property on Rutledge Ave. in Charleston. It is very well decorated and furnished and is really very comfortable and spacious. It was clean and made ready to the highest standards. The location is good, less than 10 minutes walk from a good size supermarket and closer still to several convenience stores. “We stayed in 227C with another couple. There was ample space to spread out and have our own privacy. It was well appointed and very clean. We had private parking and the location was near the upper King area. Many nice restaurant right out the door. You don’t have to go far. It was also close enough to the main historic area. “Our group of six stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a blast! The house is beautiful and has an amazing front porch that is perfect for an evening glass of wine. We were able to cook breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen in the morning, and take a short cab ride to any (and all!) of the amazing restaurants in downtown Charleston. We were traveling with a group of three couples, and all agreed that this was sooo much better (and cheaper!) than a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, Charleston is incredible, and we would definitely stay here again! *Insider tip* ask about the six-seater golf cart available to rent, it’s both hilarious and a great way to see the city!!” - Karin, May 2014

The open floor plan enabled us to maximize our time with our older children as we prepared meals and watched ball games at the end of the day’s explorations and fun. We even enjoyed an epic match of Scrabble around the dining room table. Your personal touches surround and lend to a level of comfort we found refreshing and special. The location was central to our trips downtown, Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island, uptown and more. The parking situation was eased by the ability to use the spot across the street.
