Property Reviews

"The Carriage house was very charming and updated with all the amenities. It was perfect for 2 people travelling to Charleston. It was in a great location, close to restaurants, shoppingand local coffee shop was steps from the house. I would definitely stay there again when back in Charleston." -Andy, August 2017
“Cute carriage house! Clean, comfortable, modern and roomy. Our son slept on the pull out couch and said it was comfortable. If you drive a big vehicle park on the street, parking is tight! Less than a block to Eclectic Cafe and Vinyl which was super cool and had great coffee and pastries. We will definitely visit again!” - Tony, June 2017
"It definitely met or exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully remodeled and decorated, just like the website photos showed. It was a quiet and comfortable place to spend our vacation. We enjoyed going downtown and trips to the beach, both of which were an easy trek from the convenient location." - Eric, June 2016

"Overall the carriage house was a nice place to stay. The kitchen was nice with a good layout. The bathroom was a good size with a huge shower. Everything was clean and the remodeling was well done. The driveway is a little tight, but manageable." - Jeff L. June 2016

"There is no better location in historical Charleston than this property - it's easy to get to the and from the airport, tourist locations, etc. It was incredibly easy access to the highway as well. It is surrounded by historical homes and a nice walk to all the parts of town we wanted to go to." Daniel M. - March 2016

"Property was as advertised; clean, spacious and well appointed. Family of four, two adult and two boys, there was plenty of room so as not to bump into each other. Spent most of the time out and around town. There is a small grocery/convince store just down the road for all the small needs and the neighborhood is safe for all walking with kids too include nighttime. King St. is a 8 minute walk; to be honest no car is needed if your focus is in the historic district. Numerous very good restaurants all within a short stroll, Hominy Grill for Sunday brunch is a must, just expect a little wait." - Don H.
"The first thing that drew me to this rental was the amazing photos on the website. Rarely does the property live up to the photos, but this one was spot on. The shower was amazing and still had great water pressure after all three shower heads were being used. The kitchen was beautiful and the complimentary local coffee was fantastic to wake up to every morning. We had issues connecting to WiFi when we first got there, but Megan was quick to get us back up and running. You are 15-30 minute walk from everything you could possibly want to do down town, but there are plenty of Uber drivers in the area. I would definitely recommend this rental and we will look into it again next time we're in Charleston. Make sure you go to Kaminsky's and snag a dessert and a glass of wine to cap off a great night. You won't regret it." - John  T.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our was such a quaint, quiet little place tucked away off the street. while the driveway and parking was a tight fit, the overall stay was great. We were able to walk to all downtown locations instead of having to drive or uber. We were able to relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch in the evenings, the shower was huge and we enjoyed the 3 shower heads. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the way it was decorated and had a great weekend there. Will definitely come back and stay again when in Charleston!" - April E.
