Property Reviews

"We loved this house! It was perfect for my mom's 60th birthday. We comfortably had 6 women stay there. It was nice and the bedrooms were upstairs and the big living room/kitchen were all downstairs so we all had a place to hang out. We loved the porch! I would highly recommend staying with Walk Away Stays." - Kelsi, April 2016

"A group of 8 were in town for a wedding in Charleston. 50 Spring was located right near King Street, which was not only convenient for the wedding, but also close to restaurants and some shopping. The house was clean when we arrived and the staff was accommodating. Everyone was very pleased with the renovations in the house as well!" -Maren, July 2015
"A group of 7 came in for a wedding and everything about the stay was phenomenal. Excellent location where we were able to walk to a ton of bars/restaurants! Beds were awesome, plenty of stuff for us to entertain ourselves, and everything we needed for an awesome weekend! Will definitely be staying with Walk Away Stays again!" - Renee, May 2015
"We rented this house for a wedding and it was even better than any of us expected! A little bit of a walk from the more historic part of downtown Charleston, but it was close to bars and restaurants on King St. The wifi went down one morning and someone came to fix it within 15 minutes of us calling. Excellent service, excellent accommodations and our group had the best time! Would absolutely use Walk Away Stays again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston that wants something that feels more personal than a hotel." - Kristina, May 2015
"This is a beautiful home in the Upper King Street neighborhood of downtown Charleston. The house is fully furnished with all the kitchen/bedroom essentials including a nice grill! Two porches and a patio make for great outdoor dining experiences. There's plenty of natural light inside the house, and lots of space. It was a great house to stay in for group travel as we could spread out a bit. The half bath on the first floor is a good addition too. Awesome stay!" - Isaac, April 2015
"We absolutely loved this home, the amenities and the location. The house is just off King St and in an area that is less crowded than the main area and very cozy. The "locals" are nice and the bakery (Browns Court) across the street is lovely. The house offered more than expected and parking fit three cars easily. We are looking forward to another visit!" - Telford
"This property is spacious, comfortable property at the edge of the downtown Charleston tourist and business district, walking-close to many wonderful dining opportunities. The area appears to be on the up-swing with lots of renovation occurring and it appears college students and young professionals make up the majority of the immediate area. There is a bus stop right in front of the house and during rush hour, the traffic can be quite heavy, but at least there's a traffic signal at the corner. There are air conditioning units for the main floor and the upstairs which kept the house cool and the humidity low on both levels, unlike many places where the upstairs is uncomfortably warm while the downstairs is a freezer. Downstairs there was plenty of seating for dining and relaxing, including a breakfast bar." - Ken
"Enjoyed our stay at this house! Loved the open floor plan. Awesome stove! It was so close to King Street!! Parking was very tight for our suburban, but we made it work!!" - Jena
"This was a great stay. House was clean and met our needs and then some. Was a wonderful family get together." - TJ
